GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Osage Grove Disc Golf Course at Kathryn Stagge-Marr Park will close for one day next week so Goshen Local Schools can host a cross country meet, the Clermont County Park District said in a Facebook post.
The course will close Monday, Sept. 21, and reopen Tuesday, Sept. 22, according to the district.
Osage Grove is an 18-hole course that winds through wooded terrain at Kathryn Stagge-Marr Park, an 82-acre park at 6662 Goshen Road in Goshen Township. The course is free to play, is maintained by the Greater Cincinnati Disc Golf Association and includes large concrete tees, a 450-foot driving range and practice putting areas.
The park district took over the property in 2022 after years of care by the Goshen volunteer park board. It is named for Kathryn Stagge-Marr, who envisioned the land as a resource for the community. Beyond the disc golf course, the park includes a fishing pond, a playground, a Veterans Memorial and the White Oak Picnic Shelter.
Goshen Local Schools’ athletic teams are known as the Warriors and compete in the American Division of the Southern Buckeye Athletic/Academic Conference.
