CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — The Clermont County Engineer’s Office has 11 roads closed or restricted across the county as crews work through bridge replacements, culvert repairs, drainage projects and utility relocations in the week of Oct. 5, according to the office’s latest construction update posted on Facebook.
The longest-running closure is on Bethel Concord Road, which has been shut down since April 11, 2025, under an emergency closure with no reopening date yet set, the engineer’s office said. Felicity Cedron Rural Road has been closed since July 20 for a bridge replacement not expected to finish until Nov. 17, and a bridge replacement on Spring Grove Road that began July 27 is scheduled to run through Nov. 13.
Dry Run Road in Miami Township closed Sept. 24 for replacement of Bridge No. T233-1.33, with work expected to continue through Nov. 14. On Branch Hill-Miamiville Road, a sanitary sewer installation managed by the Clermont County Water Resources Department is scheduled to run from Sept. 28 through Nov. 30.

Two new closures begin this week. Edenton-Pleasant Plain Road in Wayne Township closes Monday through Oct. 13 for culvert replacements, and Shiloh Road closes Tuesday through Wednesday for maintenance on Bridge No. T196-1.21, the office said.
Amelia-Olive Branch Road in Batavia Township is set to close Oct. 7 through Oct. 14 for drainage improvement work, with crews on site from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, according to the engineer’s office. The same road is also getting guardrail repairs this week as part of the office’s broader work plan.
Later in the month, Blue Sky Park Road will close Oct. 12 through Oct. 16 for maintenance on Bridge No. C15-1.66, and Neville-Penn Schoolhouse Road will close the same days for a utility relocation managed by Duke Energy, with work limited to 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Johnson Road’s Bridge No. T148-1.02 repair begins Oct. 14 and is expected to run through Nov. 6, with crews working 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Twelvemile Road will close Oct. 26 through Oct. 31 for maintenance on Bridge No. C126-1.02.
Beyond the closures, the engineer’s office said guardrail crews are working this week on Jett Hill Road in Ohio and Monroe townships, Merwin Tenmile Road in Pierce Township, Olive Branch Stonelick Road in Batavia Township and Round Bottom Road in Union Township. Ditching crews are on Old State Route 32 in Batavia Township, and a sign crew is conducting traffic counts on Clough Pike in Batavia Township. Mowing crews are working roadsides in Williamsburg, Jackson and Monroe townships.
