UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Clough Pike will close overnight Wednesday and Thursday near 1003 Clough Pike so Duke Energy crews can perform utility work, according to the Clermont County Engineer’s Office.
The road will be closed to through traffic from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night from Oct. 7 through Oct. 8, the engineer’s office said. Drivers will be routed around the closure on a posted detour using nearby residential streets, including West Anson Drive, Glen Este-Withamsville Road and Shayler Road, according to a detour map the office released with the closure notice.
Clough Pike has seen repeated closures this year. The county reopened a stretch of the road last month after a culvert replacement near Dixie Lane, and another section closed in late August for a sewer tie-in, according to the engineer’s office.
The Clermont County Engineer’s Office, led by County Engineer Jeremy P. Evans, oversees maintenance and construction on county roads and bridges. Residents with questions about the closure can reach the office at (513) 732-8857 or through ClermontEngineer.org, according to the agency.
