BATAVIA, Ohio — The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office will host its annual National Night Out celebration Aug. 4 at the Batavia Township Community Center, offering free food, games and a chance for residents to meet the deputies, K-9s and specialty units who patrol their neighborhoods.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m., rain or shine, at 1535 Clough Pike in Batavia, the sheriff’s office said in a post. Admission and all activities are free, including food, drinks, music, basketball and raffle baskets.

Deputies from the sheriff’s office K-9 unit, dive team and Special Response Team, along with Central Joint Fire and EMS, are scheduled to attend, according to the sheriff’s office.
