BATAVIA, Ohio — The village’s Main Street corridor will fill with music next month as the summer series Music on Main returns for a free outdoor concert by the local classic rock cover band D.R. Inc.
The show is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at 65 N. Second St., the Village of Batavia said in a Facebook post. D.R. Inc, whose full name is Dad Rock Incoming, will perform rock hits from the 1990s and 2000s.

The village encouraged families to bring lawn chairs and enjoy “a summer evening of live music with friends and neighbors right in the heart of the Village,” according to the post, which also credited the local group Main Street Matters for its support of the event.
Batavia has served as the seat of Clermont County government since 1824 and has a population of about 2,000, according to U.S. Census figures. The village was platted in 1814 and incorporated in 1842, and its Main Street corridor remains the historic center of the community.
