BATAVIA, Ohio — The Clermont County Board of Commissioners has proclaimed August as Child Support Awareness Month, recognizing the parents, employees, courts and community partners who work to ensure county children receive the support they need.
Commissioners presented the proclamation this week, according to Clermont County. During the 2025 federal fiscal year, more than 9,000 Clermont County families benefited from more than $29 million in child support collections, the county said.
The Clermont County Child Support Enforcement Agency provides its services at no cost to residents, including establishing paternity, establishing and modifying support orders, and collecting and enforcing child support payments, according to the county.
The agency, part of the county’s Job and Family Services network, is based at 2400 Clermont Center Drive in Batavia. Residents can find more information on available services at clermontsupportskids.org, the website the county highlighted in announcing the proclamation.
