BETHEL, Ohio — State Route 133 was closed at Bethel-Hygiene Road on Friday after a vehicle crash, according to the Bethel-Tate Fire Department.
The department asked drivers to avoid the area while crews worked to secure the scene, it said in a Facebook post. No further details about the crash, including whether anyone was injured, were immediately available.
Bethel-Tate Fire Department, based at 149 N. East St. in Bethel, provides fire and emergency medical response for all of Tate Township. The department responds to about 2,100 calls a year, making it the seventh-busiest of Clermont County’s 15 fire departments, according to Tate Township. It holds an ISO Class 3/3Y rating, placing it among the top 12% of fire departments nationally for fire protection. Chris Cooper serves as fire chief.
