BATAVIA, Ohio — A new age-restricted rental community for adults 62 and older is under development off Olive Branch Road, a project its builders describe as an alternative to traditional retirement living.
The Clermont Chamber of Commerce welcomed The Preserve at Olive Branch as a new member this week, highlighting the project at 4156 Amelia Olive Branch Road in Batavia.
The development is a partnership between Episcopal Retirement Services, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit senior living provider, and Ridge Stone General Contractors. According to the project’s developers, the community will include 147 single-story rental villas spread across a 42-acre site, with zero-step entries and other accessible features built into each home. At least one resident per household must be 62 or older to qualify.
Episcopal Retirement Services, founded in 1951, operates several senior living communities in the Cincinnati area, including Marjorie P. Lee and Deupree House, along with a number of affordable-housing communities across Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. The organization says residents at the Preserve will have access to its Enriched Living program, which connects residents with services such as housekeeping, transportation and meal support.
Ridge Stone General Contractors, the project’s builder, has more than two decades of experience constructing senior living communities, according to the companies.
