LOVELAND, Ohio — The Clermont Chamber of Commerce will host its 2026 Women’s Day: SPARK! event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at the Oasis Conference Center, bringing together women from across the region for a day built around leadership, networking and this year’s theme of using artificial intelligence as a leadership tool.
The event’s theme, “Inspiring Women to Strategically Influence with AI,” centers on using AI to sharpen decision-making, boost productivity and expand leaders’ impact without losing what the chamber describes as the human qualities that define great leadership, the chamber said in a social media post.
The featured keynote speaker is Diane Egbers, founder and CEO of the Cincinnati-based consulting firm Leadership Excelleration Inc. and author of the book “The Ascending Leader.” Egbers has spent 25 years as an executive coach, facilitator and management consultant, working with more than 250 organizations, according to her company’s website. She previously served as a vice president of human resources and holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in executive human resources development from Xavier University. She is also founder and board chair of Grant Us Hope, a nonprofit focused on mental health awareness and teen suicide prevention in schools.
Dana Parker, assistant dean of student and graduate pathways at UC Clermont College, will serve as emcee, the chamber said. Parker has worked at UC Clermont since 2021 and previously served as senior director of development for the University of Cincinnati’s regional campuses.
The day will include the keynote address, breakout discussions and a vendor fair spotlighting women-owned businesses and regional organizations, according to the chamber. Organizers describe the event as a chance for emerging professionals, seasoned leaders and entrepreneurs alike to build connections and leave with practical strategies for using AI and navigating the future of work.
Women’s Day: SPARK! is an annual event for the Clermont Chamber, which was formed in 1969 by a coalition of local business leaders originally focused on persuading the University of Cincinnati to open a branch campus in the county. The chamber was chartered later that year and now represents roughly 700 member businesses across Clermont County, according to the organization. Its stated mission centers on economic growth, advocacy and member benefits for the local business community.
