BATAVIA, Ohio — Clermont County commissioners will consider a $406,557 increase to this year’s road resurfacing contract and a $158,559 change order for the State Route 132 widening project in Goshen Township when they meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, according to a draft agenda released by the county.
The resurfacing change order would raise the contract with John R. Jurgensen Co. to a total of $4,152,900 to date for additional repairs under the county’s 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, which covers streets in multiple townships and municipalities, the agenda shows. Commissioners ratified the original contract on April 29.
The SR 132 change order would increase the county’s contract with Barrett Paving Materials to $919,709 to date for the widening project along State Route 132 in Goshen Township, a project commissioners first approved last July, according to the agenda.
Also on the agenda is a resolution authorizing cooperation agreements between the county and the city of Milford and the villages of Batavia, Bethel, Felicity, Moscow, New Richmond, Owensville, Williamsburg, Chilo and Neville. The agreements would extend Clermont County’s status as an “urban county” eligible for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development block grant and home investment funding through 2029, according to the county.
Commissioners are also set to consider a one-year, $119,958 contract with Clermont Senior Services Inc. to provide adult protective services for senior citizens on behalf of the county’s Department of Job and Family Services, and an amendment to the county’s longtime agreement with Tyler Technologies Inc. that would open the vendor’s electronic payment system to all county departments at no additional cost, the agenda shows.
Other items include the reappointment of two members to the Clermont County Port Authority board of directors, reappointments to the county’s airport zoning and flood damage prevention variance boards, and a resolution to accept monetary and in-kind donations made to the county dog and kennel fund during the second quarter of 2026, according to the agenda.
Commissioners will also weigh a resolution authorizing payment of vendor bills and several routine budget transfers among county funds, including transfers tied to Water Resources, the county’s 911 communications center and children’s and public assistance programs, the agenda shows.
The meeting will be held at the county administration building in Batavia and is open to the public.
