UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Clermont County commissioners joined the Clermont Chamber of Commerce and community partners for a ribbon cutting at The Slate, a new one- and two-bedroom apartment community on Rosemary Avenue, marking the completion of the county’s newest apartment development.
The ceremony gave local officials and community partners a chance to tour the property, according to Clermont County. The development, near State Route 32, includes a heated saltwater pool, a 24-hour fitness center, an off-leash dog park, a clubhouse with a coffee bar, a conference room and package lockers.
The Clermont County Board of Commissioners is led by President Bonnie Batchler, who has served on the board since 2021; Vice President David Painter, who joined in 2017; and member Claire Corcoran, who joined in 2019.
The Clermont Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1969, represents about 700 member businesses and has spent more than five decades working on economic development in the county, including business attraction and retention, according to the chamber.
The Slate is located at 939 Rosemary Ave. in Union Township, near the State Route 32 and Eastgate area of Clermont County.
