MILFORD, Ohio — Glendale Milford Road was closed in both directions Thursday afternoon between Shawnee Run Road and U.S. 50 while emergency crews responded to a traffic crash with injuries, the city of Milford said.
The city posted the closure notice shortly before 3 p.m., telling drivers to expect the stretch to remain shut while personnel worked the scene. The city did not immediately release additional details on the crash or when the road would reopen.
Glendale Milford Road is one of the busier east-west connectors on the north side of the city, linking neighborhoods off Shawnee Run Road to U.S. 50, the four-lane corridor that carries traffic through Milford between Loveland and downtown Cincinnati.
Milford, a city of about 6,600 residents that straddles the Clermont-Hamilton county line along the Little Miami River, is governed under a council-manager charter, with an elected City Council appointing a city manager to oversee day-to-day operations.
