GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 61-year-old Hamilton Township man remained in critical condition Friday after crashing an electric bicycle at a railroad crossing on Goshen Road, according to Goshen Township Police, Fire and EMS.
Crews responded to the single-vehicle crash at 11:34 a.m. Thursday, the department said in a Facebook post. The man was riding the e-bike at the Goshen Road railroad crossing when the crash occurred.
The man was not wearing a helmet and suffered life-threatening head injuries, the department said. He was flown by helicopter to UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, where he remained in critical condition as of Friday.
Goshen Township Police, Fire and EMS said the crash remains under investigation.
The department asked the community to keep the man and his family in their thoughts as he continues treatment.
