MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Miami Township is inviting families to a holiday-themed spaghetti dinner at its Civic Center next month, timed to the township’s Christmas season programming.
The dinner, set for Friday, Dec. 4, is built around the “world’s best plate of spaghetti” line from the movie “Elf” and will be catered by Padrino Italian, according to a post from the township on Facebook. Tickets are on sale now through the township’s recreation page at miamitwpoh.gov/recreation.html, the post said.
The event will be held at the Miami Township Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive, the township’s main government and recreation building. The center also houses the township’s administrative offices and meeting rooms and regularly hosts trustee meetings alongside recreation programming.
Miami Township’s recreation department runs family, adult, youth and preschool programming throughout the year, along with reservable facilities that include the Civic Center, the Leming House and several township parks, according to the township’s website. The department promotes many of its family events, including seasonal dinners, through its online recreation portal.
