MILFORD, Ohio — A new indoor golf business opened its doors on Lila Avenue this weekend, drawing a crowd for a grand-opening celebration outside the storefront.
Tee Shot Indoor Golf, at 983 Lila Ave., held an open house Saturday that ran until 8 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the city of Milford. The city said it was “excited to welcome this new business to Milford.”

The business is built around Trackman simulator technology, according to the city’s announcement, which described the facility as offering a realistic indoor golf experience for practice, leagues and casual play “for all skill levels.”
Trackman’s simulators use two synchronized radar units, one tracking the club and one tracking the ball, capturing tens of thousands of frames per second to measure club speed, launch angle, spin rate and shot distance, according to the manufacturer. Because the system relies on radar rather than cameras, it is designed to produce consistent readings indoors regardless of lighting.
