WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio — Williamsburg Local Schools will hold an open house Monday, Aug. 17, ahead of the first day of classes for students in grades 1-12 on Wednesday, Aug. 19, the district said in a Facebook post.
Kindergarten families will follow a separate schedule provided directly to them by the district, according to the post.
At Williamsburg Elementary School, the open house runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with staggered blocks for kindergarten, kindergarten through second grade, third through fifth grade and families new to the building, the district’s schedule shows. At Williamsburg Middle/High School, families new to the building are invited from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by an open house for all students in grades 6-12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Chromebooks will be available for pickup at the open house, and the district said all required back-to-school forms must be signed by parents and students.
Williamsburg Local Schools, home of the Wildcats, is one of Clermont County’s smaller public school systems, operating two buildings under Superintendent Matt Earley. The district’s lone high school, on South Fifth Street in Williamsburg, was built in 1996 and serves students in grades 6-12 alongside the middle school under Principal Jason Tackett.
