MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A stretch of Wards Corner Road is closed Tuesday while Duke Energy crews repair a gas leak, according to Miami Township Fire & EMS.
The closure covers Wards Corner Road between 420 and 422 Wards Corner Road, the fire department said in a Facebook post. The leak is isolated and the surrounding area is safe, the department said.
The road is expected to reopen around 9 p.m. Tuesday, the department said.
Miami Township Fire & EMS, Miami Township Police and Duke Energy crews are on scene. The department asked drivers to use an alternate route and give crews room to work.
