LOVELAND, Ohio — Infinity Wealth Counsel, a financial planning firm founded in Loveland in 2014, is merging with Trinity Wealth Management, a Kenwood-based advisory firm, the city of Loveland said in a social media post profiling the business.
The combined firm will operate under the Infinity Wealth Counsel name and keep its current office on West Loveland Avenue, according to the post. The advisors and staff clients already know will remain in place, and the merger is intended to bring together the experience and resources of both teams while preserving Infinity’s relationship-driven approach to financial planning.

Infinity Wealth Counsel was founded by Chris and Carol Oberholzer, with Chris drawing on years of experience in financial planning and investment management and Carol focused on client communication and office administration, the city said. Their son, Matt, joined the firm in 2021 after serving as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and working at JPMorgan Chase. The firm provides personalized financial planning and investment management services for individuals and families.
Trinity Wealth Management was founded in Kenwood in 2009 by Bob Wassel, a certified public accountant, and J. Brock Dexter, a certified financial planner, according to the post. The two firms developed a relationship over several years and found they shared similar philosophies on financial planning, investment management and client service, which led to the merger.
The Oberholzer family has lived in Loveland since 1992 and raised five children in the city, with deep ties to Loveland City Schools, youth sports and the broader community, the city said. Several members of the Infinity team also live in Loveland and have children enrolled in Loveland City Schools.
