UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A stretch of McMann Road has been closed after low-hanging electric wires were found sagging across the roadway near 4032 McMann Road, the Clermont County Engineer’s Office said.
The closure will remain in effect until Duke Energy crews can repair the lines, according to the engineer’s office. No timeline for the repair has been released.
The Clermont County Engineer’s Office has jurisdiction over 387.2 miles of county highways and 423 bridges, and regularly posts closure notices to alert drivers to hazards ranging from downed utility lines to bridge and culvert repairs.
The engineer’s office is asking drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route until the road reopens.
