UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Union Township has rescheduled a summer concert by the Marty Connor Band to Friday, Aug. 28, after the show’s original date earlier this summer was postponed, according to a Facebook post from the township.
The performance is part of the township’s free Summer Concerts series at the Union Township Civic Center Amphitheater, 4350 Aicholtz Road, according to the township. Live music runs from 7 to 9 p.m., preceded by a farmers market that opens at 4 p.m., with food trucks and a beverage stand serving adult and non-alcoholic drinks available into the evening, the township said.
The Marty Connor Band had originally been booked for July 17 before that date was postponed, according to the township’s published concert schedule. The Aug. 28 date is the final show listed on this summer’s lineup, which also included Audio Graffiti, the Kevin McCoy Band, 4th Day Echo and Buzz Bin performing on Friday evenings since early June, the schedule shows.
Admission to the concert series is free, according to the township.
