GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Road crews will resurface three roads in Goshen Township over the next several days as part of the Clermont County Engineer’s Office’s 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, the office said in a Facebook post.
The tentative schedule has crews paving Fay Road on Saturday, followed by Smith Road on Monday and Charles Snider Road on Tuesday, according to the engineer’s office. Fay Road falls under both county and Goshen Township jurisdiction, while Smith Road and Charles Snider Road are Goshen Township roads, the office said.

Dates and locations could shift because of weather or other unforeseen conditions, the office said. Drivers should use caution through work zones and watch for crews and equipment, according to the post.
The paving is part of the county’s broader annual resurfacing push. Clermont County Engineer Jeremy Evans said in the office’s 2025 annual report that the county resurfaced 36 miles of roads last year with help from federal ARPA funds, bringing the five-year total to 178 miles — about half of the county’s total road mileage. Evans said the pace of paving has picked up sharply since 2018, when county roads were on a 38-year paving cycle.
The office’s primary funding sources, the Ohio fuel tax and license plate fees, totaled about $12.9 million in 2025, according to the report. The county also relies on state grants, including roughly $1 million a year from the Ohio Public Works Commission’s State Capital Improvement Program, to supplement local funding for road, bridge and culvert work, the report said.
