BATAVIA, Ohio — Clermont County Veterans Services will host a community blood drive Friday, Sept. 25, at 101 Main Street, the office said in a Facebook post.
The drive runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details will also be posted on the office’s electronic sign on Main Street, according to the post.
Residents with questions about scheduling an appointment or their eligibility to donate can call Clermont County Veterans Services at 513-732-7363, the office said.

The Veterans Service Office’s mission is to provide emergency financial assistance to veterans, spouses, dependent children and surviving spouses, and to serve as an advocate helping veterans obtain benefits earned through the federal, state and local levels of government, according to the Clermont County Veterans Service Commission. The office, based at 76 S. Riverside Drive in Batavia, also helps veterans with VA claims, health care access and transportation to VA medical appointments, the commission says on its website.
The commission is led by an executive director and a board of commissioners representing local veteran organizations, including the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and Vietnam Veterans of America, according to the commission.
The office asked residents to share the announcement to help spread the word about the blood drive.
