MILFORD, Ohio — Trick-or-treating in Milford will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, the city said in a Facebook post, and officials are asking drivers to watch for costumed children as families head out to celebrate.

The city urged motorists to use extra caution while driving through town during the two-hour window, as trick-or-treaters cross streets and move along sidewalks throughout the community.

Milford, a city of about 6,600 residents along the Little Miami River and its East Fork, straddles the Clermont-Hamilton county line within the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Settled in 1796, it is tied with Williamsburg as the oldest settlement in Clermont County.
