CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A 69-year-old Kentucky woman reported missing last month was found dead in her vehicle in Clermont County, authorities said.
Debra Wireman of Flemingsburg was reported missing June 18 by Flemingsburg Police, who said she was last seen the previous day in Aberdeen and was believed to be heading to Maysville. She was driving a white 2020 Kia Forte with front-end damage and Kentucky license plate ASK890.
Detectives learned the vehicle was located in Clermont County, where human remains were found inside, police said. The Clermont County coroner’s office identified the remains as Wireman on July 7.
“While this is not the outcome any of us hoped and prayed for, we are thankful that Debra has been found and that her family can now begin to receive the closure they deserve,” Flemingsburg Police said in a social media post.
The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating her death.
