MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Miami Township’s recreation department will open registration Aug. 3 for a new adult co-ed kickball league, with games set to begin Sept. 10 at Riverview Park, according to the township.
Teams must have at least 10 players age 18 or older, and a single team captain will handle registration for the full roster, the township said in a Facebook post announcing the league. The season runs seven weeks, with games played every Thursday evening and capped by a season-ending tournament.
The cost is $200 per team for Miami Township residents and $250 for non-resident teams. Registration will be available at miamitwpoh.gov/recreation.html or by calling the recreation department at 513-248-3727, according to the township.
Games will be held at Riverview Park, a 35-acre township park at 587 Branch Hill Loveland Rd. in Loveland. The park includes baseball and soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, a picnic shelter, restrooms and walking trails, and connects to the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail through a partnership between the township and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, according to the township park department’s website.
The kickball league adds to Miami Township’s existing lineup of adult sports and wellness offerings, which includes yoga, Zumba, line dancing and water aerobics classes, according to the recreation department.
