BATAVIA, Ohio — The Batavia High School PTO will host a carnival and a separate haunted house attraction Saturday, Oct. 24, at the high school, offering games, an inflatable obstacle course and a zombie-themed walkthrough for area families, according to a flyer the Batavia Police Department shared on Facebook.
The carnival runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at Batavia Local Schools, 4 Bulldog Place, and will include games, prizes, concessions, an inflatable obstacle course and face painting for all ages, according to the flyer.

A separate haunted house attraction, themed "Zombie Outbreak," runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with a second flyer billing the high school as "ground zero" for a fictional outbreak. Admission costs $10 per person, and organizers are limiting each time slot to 15 people, according to the flyer.
Tickets can be bought in advance online through a presale link included on the flyer or purchased at the door the day of the event, organizers said.

Batavia High School is the only high school in the Batavia Local School District, which enrolled about 2,392 students across its three schools — an elementary school, a middle school and the high school — during the 2024-25 school year, according to the Ohio Department of Education’s report card system. The district serves the village of Batavia and the surrounding area of Clermont County.
