MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A drainage improvement project on Cook Road has been completed, and the road has reopened to through traffic, the Clermont County Engineer’s Office said in a Facebook post.
The office had scheduled the work for July 13 through July 28, with crews operating between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to the engineer’s website. The road reopened days ahead of that timeline.
The Clermont County Engineer’s Office, led by County Engineer Jeremy Evans, is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and repair of county roads and bridges, as well as township bridges and culverts, according to the office. Its highway operations division handles roadside ditching, culvert repair and replacement, and drainage work across the county’s road right of way.
Miami Township, where Cook Road is located, is one of 14 townships in Clermont County and had a population of roughly 44,000 as of the 2020 census, according to public records. The township, in the northwestern corner of the county, includes portions of Loveland and Milford.
