MILFORD, Ohio — The Greater Milford Area Historical Society will hold a fundraiser at Little Miami Brewing Co. next week to support Art Affaire, the group’s annual juried art and fine craft show.
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the brewery, 208 Mill St. in historic downtown Milford, according to the historical society. The brewery will donate $1 per pint sold during those hours back to the organization, and patrons will also have the option to donate $1, $3 or $5 when they check out.
Art Affaire began in 2005 and has grown into Milford’s largest annual fundraiser for the historical society, which uses proceeds to maintain the Promont House Museum and support its work preserving the history of Milford and Miami Township. The show, held each year on the fourth Saturday of September along Main Street, now draws roughly 120 artists along with live music and food vendors. This year’s event marks its 20th anniversary.
Little Miami Brewing Co. opened in downtown Milford in December 2018 along the Little Miami River and bike trail. The brewery was founded by Dan Lynch and Joe Brenner with brewmaster Jim Strelau, who has brewed craft beer for more than 25 years.
