MILFORD, Ohio — The Clermont County Public Library will close the parking lots at four of its branches this holiday weekend so crews can seal coat the pavement, the library said in a social media post.
The lots at the Amelia, Bethel, Goshen and New Richmond branches will be off-limits starting after the close of business Saturday, Sept. 5, through Monday, Sept. 7, according to the library. Book return drops and holds lockers at those four branches will also be unavailable during the closure, but patrons can return items to any of the library system’s other six branches in the meantime.
The Clermont County Public Library operates 10 locations across the county — Amelia, Batavia, Bethel, Felicity, Goshen, Miami Township, New Richmond, Owensville, Union Township and Williamsburg — along with an administrative office on Buckwheat Road in Milford. The system’s regular hours run Monday and Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; branches are closed Sundays.
The library apologized for the inconvenience in its announcement and said normal parking access is expected to resume once the seal-coating work wraps up Monday.
