BATAVIA, Ohio — The Village of Batavia will close off Main Street on Saturday for the return of the Batavia FunFair, an annual late-summer festival that ends the night with fireworks over downtown.
The festival opens at 4 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Sept. 12, the village said in a Facebook post. The FunFair is presented by the Village of Batavia and is held each year on the second Saturday in September, according to the village’s website.

A free concert on the festival’s center stage will feature the Kenny Welch Band from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by the Miss Jacque Band from 8 to 10 p.m., the village said. Food trucks will operate throughout the event, from 4 to 10 p.m.
A free kids zone will run from 4 to 8 p.m. with bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses and games, and face painting, according to the post. Central Joint Fire and EMS will let children climb aboard a fire truck, and Batavia Village Police will have a cruiser on display. The Clermont County Library’s Library2Go van will also be on hand, and Cincinnati Circus will offer juggling lessons.
Fireworks over Main Street will close out the night at 9 p.m.
The village said the FunFair happens every year because of work put in by the village, local businesses and residents, and it encouraged attendees to bring a chair and stay through the fireworks.
