BATAVIA, Ohio — Batavia Township will livestream its Board of Trustees meetings for the first time starting today, giving residents a way to watch township government in real time from home, the township said in a Facebook post.
The trustees’ regular meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday will be broadcast live on a new YouTube channel, “Batavia Township Clermont County, Ohio,” the township said. Recordings will be archived on the same channel afterward for anyone who cannot watch live, allowing residents to review board discussions and votes on their own schedule.
Tuesday’s meeting, the first to be broadcast, is scheduled to include discussion of property nuisance abatements, two liquor license requests and continued fire levy funding, according to the meeting agenda posted by the township.
The Board of Trustees is made up of Randy Perry, Rex Parsons and Danielle Wessel. Perry was most recently elected in 2023 and Parsons in 2025, while Wessel began serving in January 2026. Jennifer Haley serves as fiscal officer, having been elected to her sixth term in November 2023, a term that runs through March 2028. Trustee meetings are held at the Batavia Township Community Center, 1535 Clough Pike.
Batavia Township is Clermont County’s third-largest township by population and was the county’s fastest-growing township between 2010 and 2020, according to the township’s community profile, which puts its 2020 Census population at 27,660 across 41.6 square miles.
Residents can find the livestream and archived recordings by searching the township’s YouTube channel, the township said. The township encouraged residents to like and follow its Facebook page for further meeting updates.
