GOSHEN, Ohio — The Goshen PTO will host its annual Trunk or Treat event Thursday evening in the parking lot of Spaulding Elementary School, with organizers closing a stretch of Warrior Trail to vehicle traffic so families can line up safely.
Trunk hosts can enter the lot through the Linton Road entrance starting at 5:15 p.m. and will check in with a PTO member for their assigned spot, the PTO said in a Facebook post. The event opens to trick-or-treaters at 6:15 p.m.
Families are asked to park at Marr/Cook Elementary, Goshen Middle School or Goshen High School rather than at Spaulding, since Warrior Trail will be closed to car traffic from the football gate to the Spaulding lot for the duration of the event. The Linton Road entrance will close to all but emergency vehicles once trunk hosts have arrived and set up, according to the PTO.

Spaulding Elementary, at 6755 Linton Road, serves third through fifth graders in the Goshen Local School District. The district, Clermont County’s largest employer, enrolls roughly 2,700 students across Spaulding, Marr/Cook Elementary, Goshen Middle School and Goshen High School, whose teams compete as the Goshen Warriors — the namesake of the road the PTO is closing for the event.
The PTO asked trunk hosts not to leave the lot until all the children have come through their line, and encouraged families to arrive in costume.
