BETHEL, Ohio — Bethel-Tate Local Schools Superintendent Melissa Kircher has announced her resignation, effective Jan. 3, 2027.

The Bethel-Tate Board of Education voted to accept Kircher’s resignation shortly before adjourning its Sept. 15 meeting, according to the district.

Kircher has served the district for more than 15 years, joining Bethel-Tate in August 2011, the district said. Her tenure included years of change and progress for the district, with a continued focus on serving students, families and the community, according to the district.
