GOSHEN, Ohio — The Goshen Lions Club will hold its annual Holly Fair on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Goshen High School, and five local organizations will compete that day to see which can collect the most canned goods for a Goshen food pantry.
The pancake breakfast, craft show and business expo runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school, 6707 Goshen Road. Admission is free, according to event organizer Aimee Burke.
The pancake breakfast begins at 8 a.m., an hour before the show floor opens, and lunch service starts at 10:45 a.m. The fair will have more than 100 booths of vendors and businesses offering new items, crafts, antiques, food and treats, along with a silent auction, raffles and free pictures with Santa, Burke said.

The fair also includes a Fill the Pantry Challenge. Shoppers are asked to bring canned goods when they come, with a goal of 500 cans for the Agape Food Pantry, organizers said.
Five organizations are competing in the challenge: the SNAC PAC Foundation, Ali’s Warriors, Goshen Community Cares, the Goshen Education Foundation and the Goshen Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. The group that collects the most cans at the event will receive $250 from the Goshen Lions Club.
The Lions Club has served the Goshen community since 1958, and the club describes the Holly Fair as one of its major fundraisers of the year.
