LOVELAND, Ohio — The Loveland Art Festival returns to Nisbet Park on Sept. 5, marking the juried show’s ninth year and its move to the downtown riverfront park, according to the city of Loveland.
The free festival, organized by the city, runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features nearly 70 booths of fine art and crafts from about 85 artists, city officials said. Attendees can cast ballots for a People’s Choice Award, with winners announced at 3 p.m.
Live music and food trucks will round out the day, and parking is free, according to the city. A booth will showcase artwork from Loveland High School students, and RAPTOR Inc., a Milford-based nonprofit that has rehabilitated injured birds of prey since 1978, is also scheduled to have a table at the event, the city said.
Nisbet Park, at 126 S. Karl Brown Way, sits at the gateway to the Little Miami Scenic Trail, a paved path that runs more than 78 miles between Springfield and Hamilton County, and offers access to the Little Miami River, an amphitheater, picnic shelters and a playground.
Visitors can extend the day with a stroll through downtown Loveland’s shops and restaurants along the river, Discover Clermont, the county’s tourism office, said in a Facebook post promoting the event.
