BETHEL, Ohio — A man told deputies he was shot at from a passing vehicle along Airport Road late Saturday night, according to initial emergency radio traffic monitored by the Clermont Guardian.
Deputies were dispatched to the 2500 block of Airport Road shortly after 11:10 p.m. Saturday after a woman called 911 to report that her husband had been shot at from a car, according to radio traffic. The caller said the driver yelled something toward her husband before driving off, according to radio traffic.
The vehicle was last reported headed north on Airport Road toward State Route 125, according to radio traffic, and was described only as a red Toyota.
Once deputies arrived, the man said he believed he had been struck by gunfire, but he had no visible injuries and declined treatment from paramedics on scene, according to radio traffic.
No further description of the vehicle or its occupants was broadcast over the radio. Deputies remained in the area investigating, and no arrest had been announced as of early Sunday.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
