FELICITY, Ohio — Inter Parish Ministry will hold its third and final summer mobile food pantry stop of the season Wednesday, distributing free groceries to Felicity-area families in the Felicity-Franklin Local School District parking lot.
The mobile pantry runs from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 5 at the district’s building at 105 Market St., according to Felicity-Franklin Local Schools. Groceries are free and available to anyone in need while supplies last, the district said in a Facebook post promoting the event.
Wednesday’s distribution is the last of three scheduled this summer at Felicity-Franklin School as part of IPM’s “Summer Break Mobile Food Pantries” series, which also stopped there June 3 and July 8.
The pantry operates as a drive-through: Participants stay in their vehicles while IPM staff and volunteers load groceries directly into cars. IPM has asked drivers to clear out their trunks ahead of time. Questions about the distribution can be directed to IPM at 513-561-3932.
IPM, based in Cincinnati, has served food-insecure families across eastern Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Adams and Highland counties for 60 years, according to the organization. In 2023, the nonprofit distributed more than 1 million pounds of food and ran 38 mobile pantries in partnership with more than 50 community organizations, IPM said. In addition to its mobile stops, IPM operates a drive-through pantry, marketplace and donation center at its Cincinnati headquarters and invites other social service agencies to take part in mobile distributions to connect families with additional resources.
