BATAVIA, Ohio — Six teachers at West Clermont Middle School each received $500 grants from Beechmont Subaru this month, the latest round of classroom funding from a dealership that has partnered with the school for several years.
The school announced the grants in a Facebook post, thanking Beechmont Subaru for “continuing to support our WCMS classrooms” and saying the money would help teachers “bring new learning opportunities and resources to their students.” The gifts total $3,000.
The donation is part of Subaru of America’s national “Subaru Loves Learning” initiative, which channels dealership grants into classrooms across the country, with an emphasis on high-need schools. Beechmont Subaru has previously donated classroom supplies to West Clermont Middle School, including notebooks, colored pencils, markers and board games to support the school’s “Way of the Wolf” program, which teaches students teamwork and communication skills, according to the dealership.
Beechmont Subaru is one of roughly 230 businesses and organizations that take part in West Clermont Local Schools’ Partners in Education program, which pairs local employers with schools across the district to provide funding, mentorship and other support beyond the classroom. The district recognized its partners at an annual breakfast at West Clermont High School in February 2025.
West Clermont Middle School serves sixth through eighth graders at its campus on Clough Pike in Batavia, part of the West Clermont Local School District.
