OWENSVILLE, Ohio — The Stonelick Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing this month on a request to install a mobile home on U.S. 50, the township said in a Facebook notice.
The hearing, designated BZA Case 341, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Stonelick Township Hall, 457 S. Broadway, Owensville, according to the township.
The case stems from an application filed by property owner A. Moler, who is seeking a variance to install a mobile home at 1901 U.S. 50, the township said. A variance allows a property owner to deviate from the township’s standard zoning requirements when a parcel’s particular circumstances make strict compliance with the zoning resolution impractical.
The township said all neighboring property owners and other interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and weigh in on the application.
Stonelick Township is governed by a three-member, publicly elected Board of Trustees and is based at the township hall in Owensville, according to Clermont County records. The township’s Board of Zoning Appeals hears requests for variances and other relief from the township’s zoning resolution, typically stepping in when a property owner seeks an exception to the standard rules governing land use. The township contracts with the village of Owensville for fire protection and emergency medical services.
