CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — Road crews plan to continue paving Wards Corner Road and begin paving Whitmer Road on Saturday as part of the county’s 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, according to the Clermont County Engineer’s Office.
The tentative schedule, posted by the engineer’s office on Facebook, calls for crews to continue paving on Wards Corner Road in Miami Township and to pave Whitmer Road in Stonelick Township. The office cautioned that dates and locations could shift because of weather or other unforeseen conditions.

Wards Corner Road was paved Thursday and Friday of last week before this weekend’s continued work, part of a weeklong schedule the engineer’s office posted covering five roads across the county. The engineer’s office asked drivers to use caution in work zones and watch for crews and equipment.
The work is part of a larger resurfacing push this year that will repave 58 roads spanning 15.49 miles across Tate, Union, Williamsburg, Stonelick, Pierce, Goshen and Batavia townships and the village of Williamsburg, according to the engineer’s office. The program carries a total cost of about $2.7 million, with each municipality paying for the work done within its own jurisdiction under a two-year agreement with the engineer’s office. Completion is anticipated by fall. Jeremy Evans has served as Clermont County Engineer, an elected position that oversees the maintenance and improvement of the county’s roads and bridges.
