STONELICK TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A stretch of state Route 131 was closed Thursday after a dump truck struck a utility pole, knocking out power in the area, according to the Stonelick Township Fire Department.

Crews were dispatched to the 2100 block of SR 131 for the crash, with Medic 41, Engine 40 and Chief 4002 responding, the fire department said in a Facebook post. SR 131 was closed in both directions between Belfast-Owensville Road and Bass Road while crews worked the scene.

Duke Energy crews and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to address the power outage and reopen the roadway, the fire department said.
