OWENSVILLE, Ohio — A team of touring chainsaw carving artists is back at the Clermont County Fair this week, and the wooden animals and figures they’re turning out will go under the auctioneer’s gavel Aug. 1, with the proceeds earmarked for a new cattle barn at the fairgrounds, the fair said in a Facebook post.

Bear Hollow Carvers is performing shows throughout the week at the fair, which runs through Aug. 1 at the Clermont County Fairgrounds on Locust Street in Owensville. The carved pieces created during those performances will be auctioned off at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in the Multi Purpose Building, according to the fair.
