LOVELAND, Ohio — The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance will bring its annual Oktoberfest celebration back to Nisbet Park in downtown Loveland on Sept. 25 and 26, with a biergarten, live music and a lineup of German-style competitions.
The festival runs from 4 to 10 p.m. Sept. 25 and noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 26 at the park, 126 S. Karl Brown Way, according to Discover Clermont, the county’s tourism office.

The biergarten will feature Warsteiner beer alongside German food vendors, according to the chamber alliance’s event listing. Competitions planned for the weekend include a stein hoist, a lederhosen contest and a keg-tapping ceremony, along with a beard and mustache competition that is new this year. Saturday afternoon brings a wiener dog race, billed by organizers as a returning fan favorite.
Tips collected at the biergarten will benefit CancerFree Kids, a Cincinnati nonprofit founded in 2002 that funds pediatric cancer research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, according to the event listing and the nonprofit.
Vendor registration for the festival is open, though the chamber alliance says space is limited and acceptance is not guaranteed.
The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance, formerly the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce, serves the business community in Loveland and the surrounding Miami and Symmes townships.
