NEW RICHMOND, Ohio — Clermont County residents will have a chance Saturday to weigh in on a proposal for a continuous bicycle path running roughly 170 miles along the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Huntington, W.Va.
Representatives from Ohio River Way, a nonprofit that promotes tourism along the river, will host a community engagement forum from noon to 2 p.m. at New Richmond’s Fall Bash on Front Street, according to the county. The route would run parallel to U.S. Route 52.
The festival continues until 7 p.m., and residents who cannot attend in person can submit feedback through an online survey posted on Ohio River Way’s website, the county said.
The proposed trail is part of a broader effort by the nonprofit to connect river communities with recreational infrastructure and draw visitors to the region.
