BATAVIA, Ohio — Road crews will pour a new pedestrian crosswalk island on Glen-Este Withamsville Road and begin milling streets in Batavia Township’s Lexington Run subdivision this week, part of the Clermont County Engineer’s Office’s 2026 Road Resurfacing Program, the office said in a Facebook post.
Curb work continues through Aug. 7 on Amelia-Olive Branch Road, according to the tentative schedule the engineer’s office released Friday. Crews are expected to mill streets in the Lexington Run subdivision Aug. 5, then mill both Lexington Run and the neighboring Post Woods Glen subdivision and pave Lexington Run’s streets Aug. 6, the office said.
Milling is scheduled to begin Aug. 7 on Shady Lane, Elmwood Drive and Ponder Drive in Union Township, according to the schedule. The engineer’s office cautioned that dates and locations are tentative and could shift because of weather or other unforeseen conditions, and it asked drivers to use caution and watch for crews and equipment in work zones.
The office is led by County Engineer Jeremy Evans, who was appointed to the post by county commissioners in July 2019 after serving as the office’s traffic engineer since 2005, according to public records and the engineer’s office. Evans holds Ohio professional engineer and professional surveyor registrations and a civil engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati.
