BATAVIA, Ohio — Clermont County residents can spend a Saturday touring working farms, sampling local products and meeting the people who grow their food when the Clermont County Food & Farm Tour returns Sept. 26.
The self-guided, rain-or-shine tour lets visitors choose their own route among nine farms and three farmers markets across the county, according to Discover Clermont County, the county’s tourism bureau, which is sponsoring the event.

Participating farms include Losantiville Flower Farm and Vista Grand Ranch in New Richmond, HappBee Acres Bee Supply and the Local Producers Collective in Batavia, Flourish and Roam in Moscow, Boltz to Nutz Farm in Loveland, Organic Farm at Bear Creek in Felicity, and Harmony Hill Vineyards and Clover Valley Farm in Bethel, according to the bureau. Hours vary by stop, with some opening as early as 8 a.m. and others staying open as late as 9 p.m.
Three farmers markets are also part of the tour: the Batavia Farmers’ Market, and two Milford markets, one at the Greenhouse and one at Five Points Landing, according to the bureau.
The day builds to a farm-to-table dinner at Harmony Hill Vineyards at 6 p.m., featuring a Basque-style buffet prepared by chef Matthew Seeberger of Bite Restaurant using locally sourced ingredients. Tickets for the dinner are $40 per person.

The tour is presented by the Clermont County Farm Bureau and the Eastside Agricultural Collective and sponsored by Discover Clermont County, according to promotional materials distributed by the bureau. Visitors are encouraged to plan their route in advance at discoverclermont.com.
