LOVELAND, Ohio — City of Loveland crews were responding Monday to a water main break on Woodwind Drive, and the city warned nearby residents they could see temporary service interruptions or low water pressure while repairs are underway.

Crews were already on site working to make the necessary repairs, the city said in a Facebook post. Officials asked for residents’ patience and said updates would follow as more information becomes available.

Loveland owns and operates its own water system rather than relying on Clermont County, according to the city. The system draws groundwater from three wells at the Betty Ray well field, each capable of producing up to 1,300 gallons per minute from a natural aquifer about 85 feet down. Water is treated on-site with chlorine and fluoride before it reaches customers.
