OHIO TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Mt. Pisgah Road will close to through traffic for two days next week while Duke Energy replaces a utility pole near the road’s intersection with Wilson Dunham Road, according to the Clermont County Engineer’s Office.
The closure applies to the stretch of Mt. Pisgah Road just north of Wilson Dunham Road and is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29 and Sept. 30, the engineer’s office said in a post. Duke Energy crews will replace the pole on the north side of the intersection.
A posted detour will route traffic around the closed section for the duration of the work, the engineer’s office said. The detour covers about 3.45 miles, or roughly 18,236 feet, looping drivers around the surrounding township roads before rejoining Mt. Pisgah Road.
The engineer’s office said the West Clermont Local School District and the New Richmond Exempted Village School District could see bus route delays tied to the closure. Motorists were encouraged to use alternate routes and build extra time into their trips during the work hours.
