BATAVIA, Ohio — Crews will begin repaving seven streets across the village starting Monday morning, the Village of Batavia said in a social media post.
Work starts at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19. Crews will first grind out the existing road surface before laying new pavement, the village said.

The streets on the paving list are Diana Avenue, East Charles Street, West Charles Street, Shelley Drive, Edith Avenue, Gregory Avenue, Old Boston Road and East Main Street from Fifth Street to Pool Hill, according to the village.
Roads will remain open to traffic throughout the project, though drivers should expect short delays while crews and equipment are working, the village said. Residents who live on or near the affected streets are asked to slow down and allow extra travel time.
Batavia is the county seat of Clermont County and had a population of about 1,972 at the time of the 2020 U.S. Census.
