CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — The Clermont County Engineer’s Office counted eight roads closed or under work restrictions for the week of Nov. 2, as crews continue bridge replacements, a sanitary sewer installation and new waterline work across the county, according to the office’s weekly construction update posted to Facebook.
Bethel Concord Road remains the longest-running closure, shut down under an emergency order since April 11, 2025, with no reopening date announced, the engineer’s office said. A bridge replacement on Felicity Cedron Rural Road, underway since July 20, is scheduled to continue through Nov. 17, and a similar project on Spring Grove Road that began July 27 is expected to wrap up Nov. 13.
Dry Run Road in Miami Township has been closed since Sept. 24 for replacement of Bridge No. T233-1.33, with crews expected to finish by Nov. 14. On Branch Hill-Miamiville Road, a sanitary sewer installation managed by the Clermont County Water Resources Department is set to run through Nov. 30 after beginning Sept. 28.

Johnson Road’s Bridge No. T148-1.02 repair in Wayne Township also continues this week. The closure began Oct. 16 and is scheduled to run through Nov. 13, with crews on site from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., the engineer’s office said.
Two new closures begin this week. Marathon-Edenton Road and Deerfield Road will both close Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 3-5, for waterline relocation and connection work, the engineer’s office said.
Beyond the closures, the engineer’s office said crews are also working this week on guardrail, berming and rock work along Bucktown Road in Jackson Township, pavement repair on Ninemile Tobasco Road in Pierce Township, guardrail repairs on Old SR 28 in Goshen Township and on Bach Buxton Road in Union Township, and berm repairs on Olive Branch Stonelick Road in Batavia Township. A ditching crew is addressing berming on Bethel New Richmond Road in Monroe Township and drainage work on Jones Florer Road and Starling Road in Tate Township. A sign crew is trimming signage in Goshen, Wayne and Stonelick townships, while mowing crews are working roadsides in Washington and Monroe townships.
The office, led by County Engineer Jeremy P. Evans, said all work remains contingent on weather. Residents with questions can reach the office at (513) 732-8857 or through ClermontEngineer.org, according to the agency.
